*Course reading packet. The Course Reader has a variety of kinds of essays, from theoretical readings to broad literary survey to pieces on an author's body of work to articles treating one particular fiction work. The range of types of readings included represent the way course discussion should move -- back and forth between large cultural and theoretical issues and specific literary and film texts.
