about teaching vita projects

Sadly, much of my work has recently been moved to the world of backup servers at Michigan Technological University, yet you can still see some of my web work here:

"A Conversation: From 'They Call Me Doctor?' to Tenure."
This text was published in the Spring 2007 edition of Computers and Composition Online and interrogates survival strategies for tenure-track Assistant Professors. The piece weaves together the voices (literally, as we included sound and video clips, along with text) of numerous well-known scholars in rhetoric and composition. This text won runner-up for the Kairos best webtext award for 2006-07.

The Blue Ice Anthology
In 2001, I created the online version of the Blue Ice Anthology, a creative nonfiction journal published by graduate students, community members, faculty, and staff at Michigan Tech. I met with the authors and talked through how they wanted their work (which was already in print) to appear online. You will see a variety of design choices that the authors and I came up with.
