Daily Grade Average

20% of course grade

As the name of this grade category suggests, it represents the average of the in-class work we do and that I take up, including

>quickwrites after every reading and

>peer workshops for the Unit Overview and Assignment Sequence

Since these activities have different goals and requirements, I can't really give you a single rubric. But I will give you specifics on how I'll be grading each activity at the time we do it.

Daily grades are also scored on my check system, which does compute mathematically when I average them, this way:

check-plus = 95

check = 85

check-minus = 75

zero = absent / didn't do the activity
