Welcome to the Laboratory of

Molecular Anthropology and Ancient DNA

Prospective Students

Our lab is looking for highly motivated graduate students that can both take direction and build on our current research. Those with previous molecular laboratory experience and background in evolutionary theory, anthropology, archaeology, and/or biological sciences are preferred.

We also have opportunities for a select number of undergraduate students. We are looking for mature students that can devote an adequate amount of time to develop proficiency in the laboratory and/or with various analytical tools. Preference is given to undergraduates at the junior level or lower as it takes at least a year in the laboratory to meet these goals.

Please contact Dr. Kemp (bmkemp@wsu.edu) or Dr. Monroe (monroecara@wsu.edu) if you are interested in joining the team.

Please find additional information about the graduate programs in Anthropology and the School of Biological Sciences.
