Cougar Cheese Recipes


Mix & Match Cougar Fondue

4 cups Cougar Gold cheese, shredded
2 Tbsp cornstarch
Your choice of liquid below
Your choice of seasoning below

Liquid options: (choose one)
1 cup apple juice plus
1/4 cup tequila
1-1/4 cups chicken broth
1-1/4 cups dry white wine
1 bottle (12 oz.) beer

Seasoning options:(choose one)
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tspdried chopped chives

 

Bring liquid to boil in medium heavy saucepan. Combine Cougar Gold, cornstarch and seasoning in separate bowl. Reduce heat to medium. Gradually add cheese mixture, stirring constantly while returning to boil. Remove from heat and pour into fondue pot.

Serve with favorite dippers.

Makes 16, 2 Tbsp servings.
