Summary: A woman is bitten by a vampire while in labor and thus gives birth to a half breed with all the vampire strengths but none of their weaknesses. With the help and technology of his wise old friend Whistler, Blade systematically raids vampire hangouts and attempts to eradicate the species. Deacon Frost (a vampire) has his own plans, though. He needs to sacrifice Blade in order to fulfill an ancient prophesy and gain absolute power.
