Washington State University Department of English     Undergraduate Studies

The major in English provides students with a broad knowledge of literature, while at the same time emphasizing the writing and analytical skills that are vital to success in the university, in professional and graduate school, and in the workplace. The program of study is flexible, and avows English majors opportunities to take many courses in other departments, as well.
