Fine Arts Faculty Exhibition
August 27 - September 26
This biannual exhibition is an opportunity for students to see their mentors' skills and theories put to practice in a diverse array of styles and media. The exhibition includes a wide variety of works from the artists who provide inspiration to WSU students daily, allowing them to observe their mentors put skill and theory into practice. The Fine Arts Faculty Exhibition is at the beginning of the semester so incoming students are immediately exposed to the manifold talents of the WSU Fine Arts Faculty.

Carrie Iverson: Visiting Artist Lecture

Conduit, series of four kilnfused glass panels, each 10" x 10," 2008 Lecture: Thursday April, 9th at 5:30pm in the Fine Arts Auditorium
Carrie Iverson is a printmaker, painter, and glass artist. She is preoccupied with how memory is processed and recreated, both physiologically and aesthetically. Her recent glass and print works incorporate hair, ash, debris, and discarded ephemera, and are suggestive of obscured, but preserved, personal histories.
