McCroskey Staff
Thanks to many people who either work in this hall, or take on leadership positions our hall is kept clean and orderly. If you have questions regarding issues in the hall one of the following staff members listed before can provide you with assistance or direct you to someone who can.
RED - Residential Education Director
The Residential Education Director is a member of the Residence Life Professional Staff, and as such is involved in all phases of departmental planning, development, and implementation procedures. Incumbents in this position maintain primary responsibility for all operations in a residential facility.
Depending on building, some REDs are responsible for a one, or a few halls. The RED in McCroskey is also responsible for Honors hall as well. Some office hours may be held in Honors hall, but the RED's main office is located in McCroskey.

They typically work on a floor with anywhere from 25 - 60 residents, on a staff of 4 - 20 paraprofessionals, and in a community that could be single-gender, coed, academically themed, large, small, primarily freshman, or upper-class students.
Residence assitants on any particular day could:
- Work with academic advising issues
- Discuss a resident's personal concerns
- Make referrals to counseling
- Plan and implement an educational or social program
- Facilitate a conversation about a roommate conflict

Custodial Staff
The custodial staff in the hall is responsible for keeping the hall clean and neat. The custodial staff works very hard to keep the hall looking as it does. Please keep their job as easy as possible by cleaning up after yourself and keeping laundry facilities, kitchen, and shower/toilet facilities clean.
McCroskey has one full time custodial staff member, and while she helps to keep the hall clean and presentatble, it is your responsibility to keep your own room clean. The custodial staff does not do any cleaning on rooms while the room is occupied. Questions or concerns custodial services in the building may be directed to the custodial staff, or any of the RAs or the RED in the building.
