The Sarek Photo-Op Page

SAREK PHOTOS

As a relatively young Vulcan ambassador to Earth, Sarek met his second wife, Amanda Grayson, who is from Seattle (his first wife was a Vulcan princess with whom he had a son, Sybok). Amanda and Sarek had a child, Spock (Vulcan doctors developed procedures to allow the successful conception of a child between two such genetically diverse species as Vulcans (with copper based blood) and Humans (with iron based blood), who subsequently entered Starfleet against his father's wishes. Sarek and Spock were reconciled aboard the Enterprise (NCC 1701) when Amand and Sarek were being transported to a diplomatic conference.

Sarek becomes a respected member of the Federation Council (the governing body of the United Federation of Planets), the represenative of Vulcan. As such he is instrumental in getting the Federation to reject Klingon demands that James T. Kirk be handed over as a criminal for developing the "Genesis Weapon" (in reality, a project created by Kirk's estranged wife Carol Marcus and their son David Marcus to terraform barren planets using protomatter, a dangerously unstable substance).

Many years later, after Amanda had died, Sarek, now an aged man (Vulcans have life spans of some 200 years and more) and a former but respected ambassador, Sarek marries a third time and is transported on a newer Enterprise (NCC 1701-D) with his new wife Perrin.

So now the question: Do you prefer the young Sarek, the middle aged Sarek, or the old Sarek for the postage stamp? Send your replies to the U.S. Post Office, not to me, as I have absolutely no connection to any organization in which high-powered rifles are seen as a tool to settle work disputes.
