University?
Classes will take place at
both the University of Idaho and Washington State University.
Some classes also require a field trip to Spokane, Washington.
Will I
be receiving any college credit for attending this program?
No, you will not be receiving
college credit while attending the program. The U-DOC program is
designed to give students an introduction to college life and gain
exposure to medical and health careers.
How much does U-DOC cost?
U-DOC is free. U-DOC is funded
through a grant that allows us to provide housing and meals for
all our students during the program. We also provide the students
with a small weekly stipend (amount varies year to year) for them
to use as spending money.
Do you have to be a Washington
or Idaho resident to be in the program?
Yes, we do require that students
be Washington or Idaho residents and a US citizen.
When do I find out if I am
accepted or not into the program?
We notify all students by
mail by mid April. |
