Where will I live during the program?

Students are housed at the University of Idaho residence halls for the six-week program. During this time students will eat at the University of Idaho and Washington State University dining halls.

Where do I have classes at the University of Idaho or Washington State University?

Classes will take place at both the University of Idaho and Washington State University. Some classes also require a field trip to Spokane, Washington.

Will I be receiving any college credit for attending this program?

No, you will not be receiving college credit while attending the program. The U-DOC program is designed to give students an introduction to college life and gain exposure to medical and health careers.

How much does U-DOC cost?

U-DOC is free. U-DOC is funded through a grant that allows us to provide housing and meals for all our students during the program. We also provide the students with a small weekly stipend (amount varies year to year) for them to use as spending money.

Do you have to be a Washington or Idaho resident to be in the program?

Yes, we do require that students be Washington or Idaho residents and a US citizen.

When do I find out if I am accepted or not into the program?
