Notes:
Starring Dennis Miller, Angie Everhart, Erika Eleniak, Corey Feldman,
Chris Sarandon.
Summary: Katherine hires private dick Rafe Guttman to
find her errant brother. Guttman follows a trail to a funeral
parlor/bordello/vampire haven, which is run by heart-eating (literally)
Lilith, the "most evil woman to ever live." Will he
solve the mystery and emerge with his heart intact?
Commentary:
Dialogue: Campy humor at its best.
Vampires: Traditional or Not? Not. Lilith likes to eat
hearts of male victims (but only omnivores, mind you) and only
sucks the blood of her future employees. She has an exceptionally
long tongue, with which she performs interesting tricks.
Vampires: Physical Appeal? Lilith, played by Angie Everhart,
is supermodel perfect (literally, again). The vampy bordello
babes are temptingly titillating, and usually topless. Think
Playboy bunnies with fangs.
Gore Factor: If you don't mind seeing beating hearts pulled
out of victims' chests, then you'll be fine with this movie.
Scariness/Suspense: More humorous than scary, until the
very end, which you'll have to see for yourself. (Disclaimer:
This is not an endorsement of the film!)
Target Audience: Tales from the Crypt diehards
and horny young males will find this a pleasurable romp through
the realm of the undead.
