Engl 402 Spring 2018 Assignments, and Projects
Per the guidelines on the syllabus, you will have ten in-class exercises and four graded projects. All projects must be peer reviewed in order to receive full credit. Additional homework may be assigned, and will count toward the Homework/In-Class Activities grade.
Print copies are acceptable for homework and exercises, and may also be submitted to the appropriate dropbox in the Exercises folder on the main Content page of Blackboard.
In the event that you miss class on a due date, it is your responsibility to ensure you make appropriate arrangements to submit the required materials by or on the due date.
Homework and Exercises:
1. January 10 Exercise 1 page 16--see schedule for additional requirements.
2. January 12 Respond to questions 1-3 on page 50 and complete exercise 3 on page 56. Your response to exercise 3 may be turned in as a revision of the paragraph or a list of recommended revisions.
3. January 19 Exercise 4 page 113 in groups--only one submission per group is required.
4. January 22 Exercises 3 and 5 pages 292-293.
5. January 29 Exercises 3 and 4 page 417.
6. February 9 Proposal Questions as a team--see schedule for requirements.
7. February 14 Questions 1-3 on page 354 and complete exercise 1 on page 356. You can turn in both in the same file or the same print document.
8. March 7 Exercises 2 and 4 on pages 336-337.
9. March 21 Exercises 1 and 2 on page 39.
10. April 16 Exercise 3 on pages 144-145.
All graded projects must be submitted by their due date to the appropriate dropbox in Blackboard. Print copies will not be accepted.
Please note you have access to the three computer labs on the ground floor of Avery Hall, and can use them to write and upload your projects.
