| Find simpatico connection between Jaya and Jeetu.
| Jeetu should come across as sexy — he’s a protitute, very aware of his body, and he’s most likely dressed in provocative western clothing. Piercings, tattoos, necklaces, bracelets are definitely a possibility.
| The script (p. 5) says Jaya’s red sari is faded to a pink, but in the last scene it would nice to see her in a vibrant red sari. As the play progresses, Jaya gains power.
| As the play progresses, we see more and more western changes in the clothing of Om and Ma, and Jaya. Shifting to a more western style is a way to appeal to Ginni. Om, for instance, may wear a brand-name tracksuit and new sport footwear. Jaya might wear a pants suit, and jewelry. Om’s outfits will reflect the ideals of brand conscious Western consumers.
| Jaya may have shifted to a more western style of dress, but by the end or the play, she reverts back to her traditional dress— a bright red sari. Unlike any of the other characters, Jaya, the sensitive young wife seems to have somehow managed to keep intact her not-for-sale soul.

| Manjula Padmanabhan makes a distinction between the guards and the agents. The agents are supposed to be “space-age” delivery persons, “and their uniforms are fantastical verging on the ludicrous, like the costumes of waiters in exotic restaurants.”
| it may not be necessary to make a distinction between the guards and agents, but on the other hand, it could be fun (albeit more expensive), so we’ll see.

| When Ginni calls them to video chat, they will oftentimes scramble to quickly check out their appearance, and possibly even changing what they are wearing, to suit what they think Ginni would like to see.

| none of the following images are necessarily “right” for Harvest, but maybe some element of the picture is worthy of consideration, such as the colors, shape, fabric, accessories, and overall look, etc.

| in terms of hair, maybe the 3 guards could be in red, white, and blue. Or maybe, one time they enter they are all white, then all blue, all red.
