One task we decided to take on this semester was repainting the chapter room. There were several holes to be patched, and the old paint job left a lot to be desired. The previous colors had started fading, and what used to be a light grey now resembled a greyish purple. The new colors were chosen and the job of prepping the room for paint began. On a saturday afternoon, over the span of a few hours we laid down three layers of the base coat grey and let it dry. The next weekend we went back and added two red strips across three of the four walls. Overall the room looks a million times better than it did before, but there's always more work to be done. Soon we hope to repaint the ceiling and add something to the fourth wall.
