Check the Sports Information Web site for current releases. Print out the full version of each of the current releases for the day place in the folder. As with the other beats, it is always a good idea to write a short 35-45 second reader story to use in your newscast.

You should also attend the regular Tuesday, 1 p.m. press conference in Bohler Addition room 195. The conference features the current coaches discusing the season, upcoming games, schedules. Arrive early and set up a mic and recorder on the podium, or, stay after and get sound bites from individuals.
