PULLMAN AREA PARKS

	The history of Sunnyside Park's development indicates an equally valued social experience embedded in the parks creation.
	The social experiences also reflect certain cultural values.
	"It is felt that the city is responsible for providing outdoor recreation and openspace areas for a portion of the Washington State University student body. It is generally felt that this portion is restricted for the most part to married students and their families" (Orland O. Ward, Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation and Openspace Plan. Pullman, WA, 1965).
